The project is geared towards developing a working partnership between the LGU and the Junkshops to support the Cluster Materials Recovery and Composting Facilities Project of GMA. Specifically, the project aims to operationalize a Junkshop Standardization Program (JSP) Facilitate development of an integration mechanism of junkshop of cluster MRF project of the LGU.

It will be implemented on General Mariano Alvarez, Cavite from April 2008 to January 2009. GMA LGU plans to implement cluster materials recovery and composting facilities and develop mechanisms that encourages junkshops in the said project by establishing a Junkshop Standardization Program (JSP). The project will consist of 2 phases, the organization of all existing junkshops into an association (phase 1) and forge a partnership between JS association and LGU provided clustered MRF.
